Wake agent bug

I am sure that I have posted on this before but cannot find the post.  I also have more definitive information now so am posting again.

If I enable the Wake agent, via programming, in a given room a few hours after it would have activated (had it been enabled at that time) then it runs the wake up agent - turning on lights and music when it should not.  I am not sure how long “a few hours can be but suspect that this will apply at any time on the same day after the wake would have triggered.  In my specific case, Wake is set to run at 5.55am from Monday and Friday and I am enabling the Wake agent (programmatically) at 9:35 every time I return home from a weekend away or a holiday.  This works perfectly on Saturday’s and Sundays.  But on Monday’s it also activates the Wake scene (lights and music).  I have not tested other days.

Are you running any settings that throws off your location?

Such setting location in composer to US (or wherever)? Even a VPN setup to put 'you' in a different geographical location?

 

I've seen oddities similar to what you describe with wake-up when geo location and time zone location are off....seems to throw off the clock so to speak.

Hmmm… interesting thought.  I don’t think there is anything like that but will check all location settings just in case.  
 

That said, it seems to literally activate the Wake up as I enable the wake up (programmatically) if the wake up was scheduled for that day.  I will add some code in to see if I am right in saying this and I will try some other days (apart from Monday to see if the same happens).
