Dueport Posted September 18, 2023 Share Posted September 18, 2023 There are some old threads that indicate problems using the Honeywell VISTA 128BPT with C4 through the 4232CBM (delayed zone responsiveness, etc) - is anyone aware of these problems having been solved or are there still compatibility issues? We deactivated it because C4 can’t co-exist with Honeywell app. They don’t tell you this prior. Also the c4 driver wasn’t adequate — couldn’t use many of the 128bpt features. The C4 integration with our vista 21ipLTE has been flawless but we’re debating for another house between doing another 21ipLTE or the 128bpt since the later supports more zones which is nice. But if the 128bpt is still a problem as you’re saying then we’ll probably just go with another 21ipLTE for reliability. Appreciate the help. But DMP is far worse than Honeywell… If you use the HSIM module instead of 4232 CBM to integrate your Vista panel, you can use both TotalConnect and Control4. This is what we do with our Vista 250bpt, for exactly this reason. AshMania Posted September 24, 2023 Share Posted September 24, 2023 I too am using the HSIM panel and its been for the most part (had a nasty issue with security wireless signals being garbled due to my AVPro video switch - that took many hours and dollars to troubleshoot).
