c4Iona
Can anyone point me in the direction of the firmware archive for yamaha? I have 4 rx-a730's that will not stay on the network for longer then an hour (my 1010 works just fine) after that I have to unplug them to get them back online. I went into advanced setup and forced a firmware update as I was getting a version error. I am going to try an upgrade it again using a USB stick but would like to know where I can get the previous version. Can anyone please help? Matt Lowe
control4 suggest at this point is to actually factory restore the unit and not to update. they are sure it is a newer firmware causing network issues.
Derrick Cain
There was also an announcement from Yamaha to make sure your Netflix App is fully updated on ALL iOS devices on the network. The Netflix app was causing some Yamaha AVR's to fall offline. Netflix updated the app on April 19th.
c4Iona
Yamaha reached out to me and offered me the 1.8 firmware that has not been released yet. I have it on two of the units and have had a ping /t running for roughly 90 minutes without interruption. crossing my fingers this works.
panamagixxer
Did this work? My Yamaha just started dropping and is now constantly off the network?
