    MAJOR UPDATE

    Updated Kasa driver to include support for KP105, KP115, KP400, KP401, KP405, EP10 and EP40 product models.

    Hi alanchow,

Do we use the KP400 driver for the KP401?  I don't see a specific driver in the package.  If so, curious why the 400 driver keeps throwing a LUA error (table expected), probably because it is expecting status of two outlets?

From my navigator, using a KP400 I can turn the light on with your proxy driver, but it will not turn off.  I see in Lua every time I press the light on the touchscreen it generates an ON command.

I have several outlet strips in the system too and those work as expected.  Assuming I have something wrong with the driver?

    Thanks!

  2. Not C4 other than great for field tech use.

Ended up with a surplus of two new-in-box Microsoft Surface book 3 with 15" screen, i7 processor.  32g ram and 512g SSD.

These are also Windows 10 Pro and have the 6gb NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics processor.

What we like about the surface books is the extended battery when using as a laptop, but detach the monitor and you essentially have a surface pro style tablet computer.

These were $2800 each last month but never issued and I can't return against my bulk order so letting them go for $2300 each OBO.

  3. I used the "old" and free TCP driver in the past to do just that: severe weather alerts.  I just ran Node-Red on an old Pi that would query whatever I wanted (in this case an API for my own weather system), then would fire the TCP event #1-15 based upon the severe weather alert notice.  I then had custom announcements setup correlating to the weather alert and the programming was simply based upon "if TCP driver receives 1, play announcement 1"

Is there a "new" tcp events driver?  Thought the old one broke back in 2.6 or something like that

  4. Greetings,

Need to reconfigure some areas on an admittedly old lighting system.   Need at least 4 two-button keypads to deal with several 3-way and 4-way areas and not enough keypads.  These would be in a system with primarily LDZ-102-x series switches (on Pro, though).  Open to any compatible models, not looking to upgrade to KPD with aux switches in these areas.

    Thanks

Out of curiosity, which 3rd party driver are you using for the Redlink gateway?  Do you find that it works well?

Reviving an old thread, but  I'd be interested in this as well.  Lately my C4 Total Comfort driver has been very flaky.  Debug says it is refreshing and updating but it goes out of sync with the Honeywell Tsats after about an hour and I have to reboot the controller to get it to work again.

  6. Hi forum,

I've got a CMX1616A2 with the NAB ethernet / netplay audio board option that I will no longer be using in my new install.  This unit was purchased around mid-late 2016 and was used in my home.  Very good condition and no issues.  Sadly our new house won't allow for solid centralized audio.

Asking $350 plus shipping but open to offers.

I'll be posting a C4 matrix amp (the original - oldie but works well) later.

    Thanks

If I try to pick "WU" from the Service Selector dropdown, then click Set, it changes briefly but immediately reverts to C4.  I have a Weather Station that I upload data to WU with and want to use WU as the option.

I have this same experience - so how are you that are using the current driver getting your PWS info?  I have an API key (updated after the change) and prior to all this was using a PWS for many years successfully.  I simply can't get the driver to allow me to input my API key, it continues to revert back to C4.

Yeah, the "broadcast to interface XXX" failed is the reason.  Strange that they would block it, so many services need multicast / broadcast to work.

Can we manually put in the UUID, and if so how would that be located?  I realize that might not help discovery but if all other things static such as IP would it still work or does Netplay require ongoing broadcast packets from decoders?

For use with NetPlay Home, the identify step uses a multicast beacon packet on the currently active network interface.  Just check that only one interface is active (wifi is disabled) and that multicast isn't blocked on that network.

I'll check again - I used it on the same net / interface that I previously had the Fire 4k stick setup with and did turn off wifi.  It showed connected via ethernet only and was reachable via ping and VMM from IP but never could get the UUID to broadcast.  I did note in the Netplay status window on the device a line in the summary that said "broadcast to interface XXX" failed.  I was thinking maybe this was blocked by Tivo's implementation as I noted they took away to set static IP as well.

  10. FYI for anyone who cares.  Got a TIVO Stream 4k to test, and with the OTG and ethernet adapter from one of my fire sticks IRUSB is working great (just like with the shield).  It seems to be a scaled down version of Google TV OS (not all the settings as the Shield has) and I could not get Netplay Home to identify but otherwise works great with IRUSB.

The streaming consolidation is interesting - looking forward to seeing how it works over time and if it keeps up with all my selections across the major platforms.

  11. I got one to test this week.

IRUSB control works just fine - full access to play store and works with the OTG / Ethernet adapter.

I can get Netplay TV to load but only identify with static IP, for some reason the UUID doesn't broadcast.  Trying to use it as a decoder for Netplay TV results in a "UUID Mismtach" error on the screen whenever you try to select a source.  Not sure if that is something on my part or a limitation on the device.  I did note Tivo messed around with the google TV options as you cannot set a static IP like you can on NVidia shield

None of that matters unless you are a Netplay TV users...for device control and a cool little setup the Stream 4k w/ IRUSB looks to be good.

  12. Greetings,

One of my (3) T3 in-wall 7" recently stopped responding to the top section (C4 icon, back arrow, close) rendering it fairly useless for easy navigation.  If I touch the top section it seems to be miscalibrated and highlights the second row section (room selection, etc..). However, every once and a while it will work briefly for one push then reverts back to the incorrect calibration.

I have tried factory reset, remounting, complete power down but can't get it to work consistently.  Any ideas?  All are powered via POE and I'm nowhere near power budget issues.  This has been stable for 2.5yrs and just started on a very lightly used panel.  The panels with heavy use are doing just fine.

    Thanks
