Connect the HDMI directly to the TV.  Split the optical from the TV, one to the soundbar and the other to a bluetooth transmitter. 

Lacing bars would help.

Do you still have the EA3 and IO extender for sale?

Something hidden in the room under listen?  I forget what it’s called but it allows a room to join a Sonos session.

Ubiquity NanoStation M2 Point to point bridge  You buy two of them, one is configured as a "station" and one is configured as accesspoint.  At the boat house you need another WAP to plug into the M2.  It's like running a wire to the boat house but you still need a WAP at the boat house.  Its inexpensive also, around $200 plus for both.  I have a set that's been working for 4 years on a 10 acre farm it gets around 400MB bandwith.

I'm using it to control a RGB LED light strip, It just toggles through different colors.  I also another one to toggle a light strip on and off.  I didn't edit anything or make any custom graphics.

Composer 2.9.1 use driver wizard.  Add all possible switching commands under custom codes.  IN1OUT1, IN2OUT1, IN3OUT1, etc.  When it's time to put the serial codes in, use quotes for ASCII commands like this "01V01." make sure to put a period  .  after  each command inside the quotes.  Try a couple of codes first to make sure it's working, then put in the other 62 codes.

I made a 4x2 driver with Driver Wizard fairly quickly, about 20 -30 min, but it was only 8 codes.  it might take a while with 64 codes.

Make it using driver wizard from an old version of composer pro.

Serial settings 9600 8 n 1 

“01V01.”  - switches input 1 to output 1

”01V02.”  - switches input 1 to output 2

etc.

My mistake I got it confused with devices that work with MagicHom devices.  I have both MagicHome and Smartlife devices. 

You can use Alan's IFTTT driver to control Smartlife devices.   I made a simple driver to control outlet plugs as lights but it requires them to be setup with IFTTT. 

There’s room for some more buttons on there.   Why not add a number pad and some other useful buttons?  

Is the IR emitter new?

One time I had an IR emitter that blinked but still didn’t work.   I thought it was the driver or the IR location but I could never get it to work until I replaced it with another one.

But since you’re learning the IR codes, maybe it’s something else.

Programming Crestron lighting is easy if you need to create some scenes or change a few things.  I bet you could learn enough to get by quickly.  

Sorry, just looked up AP3.  I would just leave lighting separate and install Control4 for AV.  

Crestron lighting is easy to program but I’m not sure how well it integrates with Control4.  Does it have a crestron PAC2 lighting processor?  Maybe leave panelized lighting and keypads in place with Crestron controlling it and use Control4 for the AV?

Crestron panelized lighting can operate independently and works really well.

I have a one way Shelly lightv2 driver.  Not sure what the best route would be for a two way driver 

It could be that Director needs to be re-enabled.

The free Roku IP driver works and discrete codes for power on/off is at remote central.  

Samsung and Sony work good with IP or rs232. I would go with re232 control because when you turn off the TV (Samsung). You have to wait 45 seconds before you can turn it on again.  But if you want mini app drivers, you want to use IP.

I know there is a Berto driver that works but it requires a MQTT broker.  I created a driver for simple on/off commands but it doesn't show up under lights and doesn't track current status.

Gosund and Teckin are cheap and work good.  

Just get a Wally receiver for your motor coach and add it to your account.  It’s only $7 more a month.

My 12volt 5050 led strips are plenty bright.  Maybe your controller is limiting the brightness. It says it has 256 levels of brightness.
