Wow, seems C4 has a grudge or something

If you dont have a cat5 available. ethernet over power line adapters and a ca-1 for zigbee. or hue bridge
I have a couple Lutron Pico remotes line of sight around 150-175ft to workshop flood lights, they work great

I wonder if a "check in" or controller reboot would make then sync? Have we got the Voice scene sync working again. I know account linking and adding of new scenes have had issues the past few months

HAH. Tell that to my client that had a strike THROUGH THE CONCRETE PAD next to his house.
Not the house.
Not the rod ON his house.
Not the many trees around the house.
Not the comm tower some 500f away from the house
No it went into, through and cracking apart the concrete pad to fuse the re-bar as it travelled through to hit his powerline to the house.
Simplified school physics will tell you that electricity will always choose the path of least resistance: but that's HEAVILY simplified and certainly does not take all possible factors of what that path of 'least resistance' looks like in real life.
Remember folk, don't hide under a tree in a lighting storm.
Here in Florida I have seen plenty a direct strikes. House dormer, HAM radio towers, transformers, Tv antennas, gate opener. Lightning always finds the comm cable its job security. If you put a cable in the ground it is just a matter of time around here!
Even ISP require fiber tracer to be grounded

Many remote programmers here to choose from. The question is are your existing dimmers and such zigbee pro or embernet. If embernet, thats going take some time to update 50 devices and probably should be done onsite.
I would like to hear other guys answers to this one

Dont know if it works in Composer HE
On design tab select the light, then select the summary tab at the top of the properties page

@msgreenf is an Android fanboy - he may know if there is a geofencing solution for Android. Fing works on Android, and through IFTTT but there may be something more direct/elegant
I use a Lutron caseta dimmer and program off that. Its in my office so Im the only user. On means Im home, Off means Im not. I do have some programming to work around Good Night mode and the light being off.
Add a timer and the Ubiquiti driver for my phones wifi connectivity and my front door actually unlocks before I get to it.

I’ll look into something else I can come up with.
Put an ir emitter on it and add a rx-v6xx ir driver, copy/learn z2 ir codes as the main codes for the new driver, connect your end point to room "Patio", add "Patio" to announcement, done!
thats your best bet, you have just had free advice from some of the best C4 guys around, myself not included in that statement!

If you have the control in place already though, provided you've got a CORE controller in your system you could just get a zwave tilt sensor (i think nyce no longer does their zigbee one, or that would be an option).
Since this topic has come up, will the Nyce (non C4 zigbee) sensors work now that zigbee has been updeated? Ive had a couple on my desk for 5 yrs +/-

I mostly just use variables to be able to see everything in one place.
can you alram/disarm the panel from c4? There is a way you can send rs232 commands to the panel from a pc.
-
Are you using variables to fire macros or nested on the sensor themselves? Have you reboot the alarm panel and module
I have delayed macros since updating to 3.4 and door lock variables are slow or dont fire at all.

Im using a T9

I don’t use the schedules so much. So the C4 app not getting an updated house temp is aggravating.
and when I do use schedules, C4 not getting the updates temps etc is so annoying.
are you having similar issues?
I dont think this is a driver issue as the resideo app does not update when I raise the temp manually at the tstat. It does show the hold til next schedule change but the displayed temp is the current temp and not the target temp.
I do use voice commands regularly and that shows the change on the tstat within 5 seconds

Is this the same driver that the Honeywell WiFi thermostats use? The total connect one? It’s what I use and yeah it’s hit or miss. I rarely adjust the thermostat so it’s not that big a deal for me.
same, rarely touch tstat. As the house changes modes the tstat schedule is about the same for each mode. I do have programming too for certain modes and I release holds when leaving so it go back to schedule

Update: The digital output connection from controller was lost in update. Made the connection again, problem solved. either the update did this or deleting the digital media driver deleted the connection to?

sounds like something is corrupt in your project
support has look at it multiple times over a few months, they do tell me a need to upgrade to a core 3 or higher as I have pushed a Core1 to the max! I have another Core 1 in stock and thought maybe let one run zigbee and the other run director? To many other projects going on to upgrade right now
-
No, iheart for example, it will try to play and default back to the iheart category page. Also the streaming sources do not show under Listen, which only happened after the update, so I wouldnt think its a connection issue. Well unless the update lost the connections to multiroom amp/switcher. I will look at this after work today
-
This ^^^, I have had this issue after power outages for a while. Before the update I could remove the digital media driver, reboot (which add driver back to the system) and all worked fine again. Now this doesnt work. Anyone have an idea for a fix. I just hung up with support, wasnt the best expereince Ive had, maybe I should call back and speak with someone else?

you want to think everyone is honest, I do but I pass on most online sellers because of seeing these type post. Hopefully the items are in the mail and seller is on vacation. wishful thinking!!

i have some older sensor that are regular zigbee (no special c4 zigbee sauce), wonder if they will work now that zigbee has changed to the standard protocol and no more special sauce? lol
Delay - normal timer option.

You could just make a button that when pressed changes the default timer time to 30min. also start a timer (30min) to set it back to the 5min and If the light is ON restart the timer
