Dimmer - yup correct driver. The thing even before I identify it just blinks orange and green rapidly.

It was used in a 2.9 project so I’m assuming yes.

ouch! back to IR. Man my older 55", which was like $500 has it. That's crazy. Thanks as always guys!

I have the 55" version of this tv and the IP driver was fine to setup and it works perfectly. I just got a 75" - Model UN75NU6900 and I can't for the life of me get the driver to pair. I've tried turning off IP control and back on and every combination of adding the MAC, pairing, etc. It's mind boggling. I read these models have a problem with SDDP - which is obvious, because it doesn't even show up in the SDDP. Anyone got any bright ideas besides use IR?
Thanks guys!

Did you ever get this fixed - same issue after upgrading?

Had Neil do an OS upgrade for me. The experience was great and he was quick and professional. It was nice to just wake up one morning and it was done. Neil is now my go-to for any programming I need.
He's alright - actually I think most of the time he's just a pain in the arse! Especially because of those Falcons! Go Pats Neil! And you stole another W from the Lions. Somehow that's your fault too!

Odd... I have tried the 1.5.9 driver with the new firmware and it worked, I am connecting my DMX Engine through a generic serial-to-IP device. This is true the baudrate changed for the future 2.0 driver but this is only applicable to NEWLY bought Engines, older are still running at 9600bps (but can be set to 115200). The firmware is not supposed to change baudrate. BTW I never used the GC driver for any Serial to IP device, I only use my own driver (that is free on HL), it never disconnect and run rock solid, compatible with many serial-to-ip device as well as the GC device.
To isolate the issue, you can try moving your DMX Engine near the controller for a test, and connect it to the serial port of the controller.
The Decbox is on top of the controller, so I'll disconnect the other serial ports (PJ and Pre/Pro) and try one of those and upgrade the firmware again later tonight. Did you see my note on the LIght to Sound? What cable are you using and how did you hook it up to the controller? I read the manual, but it wasn't clear enough for me. :-)

FYI, firmware version 5.04 for the Decabox from John is not working with the current 1.5.9 driver. You can't connect to the Decabox. We changed the baud settings and it still didn't work. John is going to contact you Jackstone to discuss. We rolled back to 4.085 and it worked perfectly. Would really like to take advantage of the updated firmware for fades, etc. Keep me posted.

what are people using to connect their matrix to the controller to get the sound to light to work? I looked at the instructions and it looks like one end of a red rca cable was cut and there were two wires coming out. Can someone explain how to connect this using an RCA cable?

Everything worked perfectly until I upgraded to 5.04. Never had an isssie until now.

Jackstone, I just got the firmware update from John Chapman and he gave me 5.04. As soon as I upgraded the firmware, I now can't seem to find out what the issue is, but could the firmware upgrade have screwed something up? I noticed the last release you talk about is 4.85. FYI, if you remember, I'm using the GC itach IP2SL and I know you said there were issues at one point with using this setup. Any thoughts?

The next decoder can be set to any channels you want, just make sure to set the Control4 driver accordingly. But yes, using the following channel 10,11,12 make sense and it'll work. Don't forget to upgrade your DMX Engine to the latest firmware to get an upgraded fade engine, even smoother than before.
What do I set the dip switch settings to? How do I create a 10, 11, 12 when there is only 1-10. :-)

jackstone - I had to redo my theater due to a poop flood and I'm adding yet another controller to to the project and I have a question. The first one is set to DIP switches 1,2,3, the second set to 4,5,6 and the third is 7,8,9. How do I add a 4th for 10,11,12? I looked at ths DIP switch settings on this thread, but wasn't sure since I found so many different settings.
Still loving my Domaudeo RGB lighting control since the Beta. Great work!

I finally got the Foscam's to work - thanks to everyone for the all the help and dcovach for the driver. I ended up going with the Foscam F8910W and it works! Yeah.
Now, on to the what we wanted to do to begin with... I'd like to have it where when the doorbell is pressed (I have the doorbell already integrated), it will fire up the On-Screen in the Family Room or Kitchen (HC-250's) and choose the camera for the Front Door. Is this possible? I can have it fire up the HC-250 onscreen navigator, but can't seem to find the commands to choose Security/Camera/Front Door.
The only option I see is the create a macro that moves left one, select, select, right and then select. Then it would go through the same commands I would do with the remote.
Thoughts? I've looked everywhere, but I don't think it can be done..

in Looking For An Integrator?
Posted
We’ve sold our house with C4 and it literally has about 300+ devices that the new owner will keep; locks, thermostats, panels, theater equipment, 60+ dinners and switches, security, cameras, irrigation, landscape lighting, etc. I’d like to transfer this to him as easily as possible and the dealers around me are crap and will most likely wipe it and start over. He’ll need to add his tv’s, cable, etc. Can someone remote help me and FNG with the transfer? Neil Blasingame is gone and that pains me, as he is the only person that knows the system as well as I do. New integrator needed...
