It would be interesting to see what Intellicenter brings. I agree that right now, ScreenLogic is really all your need. I have connected my Intellitouch i7 to Control4. It is expensive to do for a sub-par experience. Those pool companies are very much behind in terms of software development. They use Serial/9.6 protocols to communicate and the data is very limited. ScreenLogic is "unexpectedly ok" based on old those techs are.
I look forward to this new Intellicenter and even more what the driverslab can create for us Control4 users. In the meantime, don't waste your money on trying to interface the legacy Intellitouch with Control4. And if you can't wait for Intellicenter, go the cheaper Easytouch - it is all you need with ScreenLogic. It will save you a lot of money that can be spent with our great remote dealers on this forum!!!

+1 on BlueIris. Get a refurbished Dell i5 or i7 via Dell Direct and you are all set. Fraction of the cost and way more flexibility. Also look at Dahua as opposed to HikVision for affordable cameras. They are great. Look at ipcamtalk.com for more info on them.
For irrigation, Rachio is great. and they are about to release a big new software upgrade. There is a driver available to integrate with Control4 but most people agree that it is not really worth it. But up to you. They seem to have really become the leader for smart irrigation.
For landscape lights, a cheap but effective option is to connect your transformer(s) on a Control4 controlled outlet. You obviously won't control color but on/off, both manual and on schedule. Works obviously well and gives you the flexibility to use any landscape lights you want.
Roku integrates very well with Control4, including native apps integration. In other terms, you can have a button/choice on your remote or device to load (with no delay) Netflix, Amazon... And you can use Plex on Roku.
For door openers, I don't know for sure for your models. But if you can't wire to Control4, you have the option to use a CardAccess module to connect remotely to Control4. MyQ is an option but there seems to be a lot of back and forth lately on it. I personally had wired my garage openers to the back of my HC800 and it works great, both sensors (for status) and contact (for open/close). You can do the same remotely with CardAccess module.
Great idea on keeping a list of "good" devices for Control4 users!

Another plug for Neil! First, you could not find a nicer guy who is patient and always happy to help. Neil has been helping me for the past 2 years or so, finally taking my Control4 install where it should have be taken initially... He is incredibly knowledgeable and will not stop until he finds a solution to any problem like tonight where he and I were still talking at 2am to push the envelope on some integration of older equipment and complete home automation.
I wish I had found Neil a long time ago and had been able to work with him on the first phase of my project. But I am really glad to be able to count on him now not only for top notch programing but also for advice and sourcing excellent components, Control 4 of course but other great brands too.
And the best part is Neil is like this with everyone, whatever size the project is. I have introduced him to several friends and/or contacts who have been raving about his service and in several cases, his ability to salvage installations that had been butchered... And in my case, Neil has been, amongst many things, the reason why my wife and kids have really adopted Control4 while initially very reticent. It is actually fun to hear my wife promoting Control4 those days... :-)
