Just noticed the fine folks at C4 have published a Universal Driver for CNBC. This makes me happy. It's the last piece of the puzzle for me to get rid of Directv!

Unplug the internet router from the ISP modem. Cycle your router, Switch and AP's and see if you still have issues with the ISP device unplugged. If you don't, call your ISP and ask them to re-provision your device so that you get a new IP address and then try with your ISP device plugged into your router. A DDOS attack will cripple your routers ability to work regardless if the firewall is blocking the offending packets. The whole point is to deny service. That service is both internal and external. Are you running the Unifi network software? What does that tell you?

600-700 for a remote seems a bit high!

Has anyone worked with CasaTunes in or out of Control4? I am interested to hear folks thoughts.

That is the same situation I am in now. The IOS app works but the 260 remote does not. Let me mention that I configured the blue button to go to the main menu and it works on the 260 yet nothing else works on the 260. I even set the debug and can see the command issued when I press a button on the remote. I have the bridge, EA5, 3.1 and ios 13.x

Popular or unpopular as my statement may be, 13.x and Control4 is a mess. The new driver does not work consistently. Beta or gold version, it does not matter. It should not matter. I was happy with the old IP driver. It worked just fine. Now the newest driver works with the c4 ios app as a remote but I cannot get the actual C4 remote to work. I have several instances of control 4. Some on 3 and some on 2.10. I had to revert to the IR driver on 2.10 to be able to use a 13.x AppleTV as the newest driver does not run on HC gear and requires EA gear and the old IP driver does not work with IOS 13.x. I have the newest driver in 3.1x and the bridge has screwed up the Home app on my iPhone. All I can now see id apple items and control4 items. I no longer see any of my Hue lights or smart plugs. Sorry, but It's just a mess. I hope C4 and Apple recognize what a mess this is and is working to put out a better integration in the future.

IMHO, kinda underwhelming. there is an immediate need for a new remote. Let me say that again, new remote, a new remote that has a voice button to talk to siri and to fireTV. Again, just my humble opinion.

I have this issue ALL the time!!

While watching something on appletv, I will see a pop up saying the control 4 remote disconnected and the reconnected. Is this a zigbee issue? I have light switches all over the house that should help strengthen the mesh. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to stop this? thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone. I was able to get it working with the beta that dropped yesterday. Had to pull the appletv's out of the rack to get them all upgraded but they now work.

I am getting ready to back the devices back to 12.4 and then i'll turn off automatic updates so that 13 does not come down when dropped.

Has anyone run into issues with the 13.x beta software and both the gen 1-3 and gen 4 (bridge) drivers? I recently upgraded a few of my devices and cannot connect to the gen 3 device as it keeps trying to initialize. In LUNA I see it connects and drops over and over. The Gen4 device just does not work. I can't even see the three devices on 13.x using the remote app on my phone. Very odd. And yes, I get what I ask for messing around with beta software, but need to know.

Let me clarify my question. in OS3, is the ability to define additional vlans broken? I have tried to add a second vlan to this and it will not stick. As for my network, traffic between the 4 vlans I have defined works just fine. I am just asking about the config in control4.

Question regarding allowed networks. On the tab it says: You can expand the list of allowed networks by adding one, or more, CIDR network specifications to the following list. For example: 192.168.2.0/24 I have multiple vlans on my network and would like to have devices on both 10.0.30.0/24 and 10.0.60.0/24 be able to communicate with control4. Can I not do that? I added 10.0.60.0/24 on the line below and hit set but when I go to another tab and then come back, the second network is gone. I even tried 10.0.0.0/8 (not that I want that) but it just reverts back. Am I really confined to a single /24 network with control4?

Does anyone know if the customer portal is down? When I try and log in, all I get is the spinning circle.

Is anyone having issues with the intercom service? My phone says it cannot connect with the service. Is Control4 having an issue? The camera on my door station is working fine. Thoughts?

I have smb1 as the lowest and 3 highest. i have a music user with read only for the share but that does not work either.

I connect to my nas from my windows pc as \\ip_address\Multimedia\music I am using the admin user and password. I connect from My PC just fine. ------------ I try and use the same in control4 and it does not connect. I get cannot connect to network share. ------------- I can SSH into the controller and ping the nas by name and device. I am just at a loss here. I never had this issue with my qnap.

A few thoughts about what I like and what I don't like. Like -- - The speed seems much better - The app for the phone and iPad is much better - Intercom works well - Ring anywhere works great Dislike -- - Why would they get rid of the security, lighting and comfort from the main navigator? This is driving me insane. All that blank real-estate on the screen. Yes, I change the temp and control my pool from my TV. I also turn lights off from my TV. Please, for the love of all that is good, bring this back. - Not a fan of the side bar. Use the main navigator area. I will have to train my wife all over again. - You let me create shortcuts on my app, why not let me do it to the main menu? - What happened to the animated wallpaper? I really liked that. - No voice integration on the app with appleTV. - Modifying the Navigator menus in composer is misleading because even though you can add, arrange and hide things like security, lighting and comfort, you don't get security, lighting and comfort on the main navigator menu. Not even on the side bar! - Still cannot connect to my synology NAS with the Network File Storage driver. I realize Control4 wants to showcase their app but please stay with your roots and allow us to choose how and from where we want to control our house! I am done with my rant, thanks for reading.

Has it been determined if OS3 supports SMB 3.x? I have yet to see that documented anywhere. Planning to upgrade once my new door station and LCD screens come in but am mapping out some changes I would like to make.
