Kaleidescape is not going anywhere. They have billions of $ backing them and support of nearly every studio and soon will have almost all movies. Physical media is going away, so it’s either streaming or Kaleidescape. Yes, as mentioned , adding the ability to use your own Blu-ray drive to catalog your collection makes it a lot easier for you to buy movies from the store for as little as $1.99.

If you think the Halo battery charge is bad, don't ever look at that those fancy Crestron 310 remotes which cost twice as much. Those batteries last about 3 hours.

I’ve replaced dozens of x2 savant systems with the sr260. It’s an ok remote but I would go control4 any day over savant.

Yep I can rip around quickly on the sr260 but it’s like 9 years of practice. I like the halo way better for its coolness and I’m sure after a while will be navigating quickly on this as well.

I have no problem with the Apple IP setup. And my Halo remotes have arrived. Setup could not be easier. The end user just scans the code and adds it to their Wifi using your phone. I am in love with these remotes.

Faster than I thought ! Certified showrooms got preorders in so I would assume that is who gets them.

I would bet that they ship next week and soon will show out of stock. Just my guess.

Regarding those color at night. You need the spot lights turned on these cameras for them to work at night. no option for b/w at night. I installed them inside a home and learned the hard way. -
The word is next week shipping.
