I do have distributed audio throughout the house, no video though. My AVR is not near the centralized rack where the EA3 resides. I can run additional cables between the 2 areas if needed, would be around 75-100'. Just stereo is fine, I use the settings on the receiver to set sounds to 5 channel stereo so it plays out of all 5 speakers. Thanks!

I think he was trying to use my cat 6 cable and put HDMI ends on it. For audio, would the output connect to the EA3, or the Triad Matrix?

Appreciate the information. I am currently using IP control and it's flawless, but they tried to connect it to my EA3 so that I could use it for music, but had a lot of trouble with it. I want to be able to use my 5.1 setup with my Control 4 Music Server. What connection is needed for that?

I need to replace an old receiver that my dealer can't get to work with C4 and was thinking of just swapping it with the Yamaha TSR-7850 that I have in my basement. Anyone had any luck using that model with Control4? Are there drivers available for it for IP control?

KB article was followed and they say all passwords are updated. I think programming the button to call might have to be done. Highest level support isn't seeing anything wrong.

Yes, communicatin agent was removed and re-added. Also, the Gate is part of the All call group.

I had to replace the DS2 mini for my front door and gate after my integrator accidentally bricked them when updating to the latest OS. It seems firmware on these had to be udpated first. Anyhow, they sent me 2 replacements under warranty and the front door has worked fine, but the one at my gate, it only rings on the house speakers but not on any touch screens or cell phones. C4 has had me check all of the settings and we have spoken to tier 2 support and one of the engineers with no luck. They have since sent me 2 more replacements, but all with the same issue. I can't see hardware being the problem, so I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced anything similar or had any suggestions?

Quick update, Epic says they are working with C4 to get the driver to work, but asked if I knew anyone that could write a driver if the serial commands were provided. I can't, but was wondering what I can expect that to cost if I had someone do it?

Turns out he had tried that driver with no luck and never heard back from support. Know any drivers available?

I had a custom home theater built and they installed Advanced Pro RGB lights in the cove. Currently the lights are set on blue and I have been unable to change them as my integrator was not able to get them to work with Control4. Anyone familier with these and know if there is a driver available? If not, what would it take to get one made? Thanks.

I knew I should have taken a picture lol. I just put it back together. Will take a picture next time I take it apart.

Any other way to reset the DS2 mini? Mine doesn't look like the picture above. I tried holding the reset button up to a minute with no change. The red light goes solid for about 5 seconds, then goes off then starts blinking. No change after that.

Unfortunately that didn't work either. I am just getting a flashing red led and a flashing yellow led. (1st and 3rd). Middle led does nothing.

Thanks. Resetting didn't work, so I'll give that a shot during the daylight.

Just did right after I typed it, so far no luck. Will reboot the EA-3 again and see if that changes anything.

I was actually already on OS3, just updated to the latest release. They are going straight to a POE switch and getting power, but not getting an IP on the router. What can I try IP wise? They are both setup as static in the router. Thanks!

I have 2 door stations. All worked fine until my system version was updated. Now both show off line. Rebooting the C4 system, router and POE switch did not make a difference. Anything else I can try? Thanks.

I would love to have a C4 controlled lock for my front door with the 3 point locking system. I wouldn't care so much, but once it gets open, I usually find it still unlocked at the end of the day. I want something to auto lock it mostly.

We have been putting in users and codes via the direct web link to my DS2 w/keypad for a gate and the user profiles keep disappearing. Is there a different way to input users/codes that would make them stick?

When adding user profiles/codes using the DS2 landing page for my gate controller, they work fine once added, but if I connect to the DS2 using the intercom anywhere app, it then erases all user profiles created. Any idea why that happens? I have tried it several times and as soon as initiate a connection using the app, all profiles/codes are lost. Also while on the subject, is there anyway for the intercom anywhere app to display a button on the screen that lets you open the gate if you receive a call from that DS? Thanks.
