Hi, wondering if someone has any tips or advice!
I have 8 zones of audio, 7 of which are stereo and run through my Triad Audio Matrix and then Triad Audio Amp. 1 room (my living room) has a Surround Sound system with a Denon amp.
For music, the audio matrix is sending audio via RCA to the "CD" input of the Denon - everything is great.
For Video, we have a HDMI cable running out of a mirrored HDMI port on the video matrix and into the "CBL/SAT" input on the Denon so we get a surround sound feed from all our sources.
We have used the very simple programming in the screenshot below to make sure the Denon changes to the "CBL/SAT" input for video (no programming currently for audio, it just works) however it's hit and miss. Sometimes it works, but if I jump video input or maybe turn off then turn back on, it goes back to "CD" ie the wrong input - so although I still have sound as the matrix is sending it, it's not the surround sound feed, it's a stereo feed.
Any tips on programming / rules for making sure the right input is always selected?
