    Will give it a shot. Where can these settings be found? Is it done through ComposerHE or via the Control4 app on iOS?

    Tried ClickSend. Overly complicated, requires subscription and also requires additional subscription with another website to make it work Seems like there is no simple solution. Sadly my service provider decided to can this feature without any notice or alternative solutions put in place.

    It gives you the option when you turn it on (remote system), so figured it is a feature.

    The problem is there is nowhere to forward the email. My provider discontinued the email address that would forward the email to a phone number / SMS (xxx-xxx-xxxx@pcs.rogers.com).

    If that is the case, why would they even have the feature enabled to allow for remote login?

    It never worked reliably for me. It would always start at the first track in the playlist and not shuffle anything. I would have to stop the playlist and restart the playlist for the shuffle feature to work.

    Hahaha. I find push notifications the least effective for me. Often times I will receive an email and not check them, especially when I’m away from my computer. For some reason when I get an SMS or text message, I seem to check it right away.

    I already do. For important events I like to be notified 3 ways: push, email and SMS. Of all the notifications, I find SMS the most useful. Push and email often times go unnoticed.

    So my cellular provider decided to remove its email to SMS service. Can anyone suggest a reliable email to SMS service?

    Why would they have designed a program with a feature for remote login that requires a VPN for remote login. I feel like this is a work around, but not a solution which the developers need to address.

    I would like to add my DS2 door station to my HIKVISION security NVR so any motion is recorded as if it were just another camera. Is there nay way to do this?

    I have been using the Comcast drivers with three Rogers ignite boxes for the last six months (@msgreenf set them up). They have been working very well for me without any problems.

    I have been having nothing but problems with my Aprilaire 8840 thermostats. I am considering switching to a different brand. The thermostats needs to control the following: Heating, Cooling, Fresh Air (ERV/HRV), Steam Humidifier, HEPA Air Cleaning What thermostat would you suggest that can facilitate the system above and integrate smoothly with Control4?

    Spoke with Paul from Domosapians and he believes the issue would still persist even with his driver. The trial period is only 7 days so that would not give me adequate time to test. I have 2 furnaces so the S86WMUPR is not an option. This has been a real nightmare for me with the thermostats. Either there are a lot of bad batches of Aprilaire thermostats being produced or there is something in my system/design these thermostats do not like.

    Because now it is the main floor thermostat that went offline. We replaced the thermostat on the 2nd floor.

    I don't see the option to run a scheduled event or create logic based on variables?

    I am using the stock Control4 driver. Occasionally (could be a week, could be a couple of months) my Aprilaire 8840 will lose connection with Conntrol4 ("Automation Connection Lost"). If I reboot of my EA5 the thermostat seems to come back online. Anyone have any insight or suggestions how to fix this?

    Thanks Is there any way for the button to give feedback (whether the scheduler is enabled or disabled) similar to a custom button for a garage door which shows if it is open or closed?
