dbuono
I recently purchased a Samsung UN65NU6950. The actual TV has an ethernet connection (for smart tv services) and also has control through the samsung app. But, I would like to know if there is a specific driver to operate this TV via IP. I could not locate one. When I tried to add a similar Samsung TV (UN65NU______) that were IP I could not identify on the network. Any help on the driver or how to connect with the static IP would be great. Thanks
msgreenf
if it does it should have SDDP and you should see it (when on) in discovered devices.
dbuono
I can see the tv in the discovered tab, but no SDDP icon in front. Does that mean this model just doesn't have IP control?

therockhr
That model is not listed here https://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?q=samsung+un65nu*&fq=certified%3A"true"
dbuono
That particular model has no IP control. I have three other Samsungs in the house and they all have it. So, not sure what the difference was in model year or hardware, but I just live with the way it is.
kaarchie
IP control started with the M series TV's (2017 I believe), and initially was only for the 8000 series and above (Q-Series and Frame), at some point, not sure which year model, the 7000 series models started having IP control capabilities, I do not believe the 6000 series have ever had IP capability
