Hi,

I am installing a Contro 4 system in my master bedroom and would like to get a new 2.1 home theatre. I was told that Bose system dont generally work with the control 4 system. Can someone recommend a system that i can get that will work well with control 4, was thinking of a harman kardon system

Generally speaking a 2.1 system is pretty easy. Control4 has the Triad solution which would work for you.
I'm a big fan of the Rialto 600. There's a serial driver for it or you can IR control it.
Denon Heos:AMP would work well- driver available
Sonos Connect:Amp would work well- driver available

bose now has certified drivers and work just fine with control4.

 

Triad would be my suggestion too for the endless choice of speakers.

 

for a sound bar sonos or HEOS, yamaha has some good selections too.
