Paulknapp
Greetings! I am adding three zones of in-floor radiant heat to my house and wondered what recommendations you have? (I currently have three standard C4 thermostats--1 for AC, 1 for radiant heat zone 1 and one for radiant heat zone 2.) should I stick with C4 thermostats and just add three more or should I go with something else (nest/ecobee)? Cheers! Paul
Matt Lowe
nest has the free driver now but keep in mind its just basic set temperture and check temperture. You still must use the nest app or nest itself to access the schedule. c4 thermastat is ugly nest is pretty
SMHarman
C4 can be hidden with a remote temp sensor. Nest must be on display. Hidden and clean wall's is better IMHOI just put panelized lighting in so I did not have to admire a wall bank of switches just one keypad for scenes. RyanE
The Nest thermostat is not a bad thermostat, and the integration does everything available in the API, with the exception of a few things. It's fairly simple, but works well. Nest's API does not provide the ability to retrieve / set schedules on the Nest thermostat. RyanE
cdepaola
I like the new ecobee product. The wireless temp sensors are a nice add Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
