GM
What's the expected boot time of an HC300, running Director, Zigbee server and ZAP coordinator for a relatively small project? Right now, it seems like it takes 10 minutes, or more, for it to be visible through ComposerHE, after a power cycle. The controller has a static IP address and is connected to a commercial-grade switch via Ethernet, rather than Wifi. Don't know if this kind of boot time is typical or very slow. Thanks for any insight.
Cyknight
Depends on system software version, amount of advanced drivers, amount of programming to check or execute on power-up - but 10-20 minutes is not strange at all.
thecodeman
It's around 400-450mhz cpu or something like that IIRC. Not quite as zippy as the HC800.
RyanE
The boot time on the HC300 is pretty long. The 'first generation' HC300's are even slower. They're only a 300MHz processor. I believe the 'C' version got a bit faster processor, but if you're booting 2.x, it's going to be painful.RyanE
avittech
I have seen them go as long as 20 minutes before fully working
