Android issue...any help

So i have a customer who has an Android. Most of our customers and us here at the shop are iPhone people so I havent really messed with the Android os much. That being said here is the issue:

Customer goes downstairs to work out. Turns on Android and then Listen>Rhyposdy

After about 3 mins the phone goes black and they have to restart by opening the phone, Listen> and so on causing them "too much trouble".

I tried to change the setting in the Myhome app to change the settings and they are dark.

Any thoughts? Am i looking in the wrong place?

No. All it does is that it won't put the device to sleep. You can still normally close the app and/or use other functions.

There also the "stay connected" option, which maintains connection on closing the app. My preference is for this one on my tablet as it allows quick opening and closing, device still shuts screen off etc, but it isn't recommended on SIM devices (ie phones) as it would drain data.

I believe but cannot confirm that the app may have this greyed out depending on if the device/android os version supports the feature.
