panamagixxer
So, My system is 6 1/2 years old, well, not really, lots of changes over those years. Now running 800, with a lot of additions. But, I have 4 of the mini touch screens installed in the house and we use the one in the kitchen a lot because of the patio and pool. What are my upgrade options (hardware standpoint). Is the iPad option the best? Not sure on specifics, but a friend has an iPad in an enclosed case on the wall? I think there is an option that is a charger where you can remove the iPad and use it? Not that big of a deal because my wife and I just got Airs and my 2-year old son has my old iPad 2. Thoughts?
Cyknight
Ipad would be one solution, several inwall and onwall options, if the mts is wall installed you can get a newer 7" as well - there's conversion plates available, and for the MTS it's a perfect cover. tebery
I replaced all 9 of my MTS and 10btn LCDs with 7" infinity edge touch screens without cams. I have no regrets doing it (aside from the expense ;(Also have 3 iPhones and 3 iPads that we use also but it's great to just walk up to the touch screen and it's live, connected and on the room you are in already. brucecampbell
I recently upgraded to 2.5.2 from 1.7.4.I have kept my Mini Touch Screen, still works fine, but uses the same old interface. If you want to upgrade, look at Ipad or Ipad mini with the launch port wall mount - it is the best option I have seen.
