Kidsat
I have a Kwikset Smartcode 916 Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt that is Zwave. Is there any way to change it over to zigbee so it can be integrated with my Control 4 system?
JP Rizal
I have a Control4 zigbee Kwikset module but i'm not sure if they could be switched to work. Whereabouts are you?
Kidsat
Canada I found another topic in the forums that says you cannot switch. But another person says they were able to get their zwave one working in Control4?
MonsterIT
its supposed that you just need to change the z wave card for the zigbee one , it is the card that is next to the batteries
Cyknight
It's not officially supported by quickset, but if a lock is available in ZigBee.... Yale actually sells the modules stand-alone (through Control4 only!)
Kidsat
How much is the module? Do I just get it through my dealer then?
Cyknight
You have a Kwikset - you'll need a kwikset module - either you 'find' one - or you buy a new lock...

AdamT
I have a couple of Kwikset deadbolts I am not using that I could help with the Zigbee card (for a price) if that would work. Do you know which card you have in yours? I havent messed with the 916 so I dont know if they are the same. Let me know if they are the same modules..... StroTek LLC
Just now, sisniega said: The 3 door locks an a sr260 are the only zigbee devices on my mesh that would make me say yes.. you need to add some light switches etc to help the mesh.. however the EA1 is plenty close enough I would think to the door lock (at least 1 of them)
AdamT
I wonder if the zigbee card is used and was one another system and needs to leave the old mesh?
