Gene Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Since upgrading to 2.9 from 2.82, when I turn on one of my samsung tv's (its controlled via IR and a matrix), the mute button shows with the red icon but the sound is not muted. South Africa C4 user Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 If you mute and then unmute by increasing / decreasing volume, you will probably experience the same thing... I do. Thus, an easy fix to this (without the original remote) is to press mute (getting rid of the mute symbol) and then change volume using V+ or V- (essentially unmuting without sending a mute toggle code).
