Light dimmer and 4 way switch

Cooper27

Question

Hello all, I am in the process of installing C4 dimmer switches in a room that has 2 light sources (ceiling cans and a ceiling fan with a light). Both light sources are 4 ways.

Its a minor annoyance to have two switches to light the room, is there any reason I could not rewire at the box and run both off the same dimmer, and auxiliary key pads? Is there a better solution to tie the two lights together?

thank you

It wouldn’t be the fan, but rather the light on the fan itself, they are wired separately in this room.  The total combined output is well below the listed power rating for the light switch. The fan is already on a C4 speed control.

Make the cans a key as dimmer. Have program the top button to turn on both loss and the bottom button to turn off both loads.

Put another KD at the aux location and do the same.

I was hoping to use auxiliary switches because of cost difference with key pad dimmers
