jebt2921 Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Looking for a few pointers as I’m new to Composer HE since I just got it a few weeks ago. My dealer programming one of our Echo Dots directly into the system as a zone (into my Matrix 4x4). Problem is, every night at 8:00 sharp it turns off and I have to go back into my Kitchen on the app and restart Echo Dot (see below). Perhaps it’s good it turns off everyday do so the Matrix isn’t always running something, but I don’t think that’s really the case. Can anyone point me to the setting to adjust this to possibly not turn off or when it does, trigger it to automatically turn back on? FWIW, many of our rooms have RCA inputs feeding back to our Matrix amp which then are connected to each zone, should I want to have an Echo Dot or something else connected directly (like a friends iPhone for music). lippavisual Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Not much info to go on but, are you using streaming services from the Dot?? A lot of the services timeout after playing them for long periods of time. My paid Pandora can usually go almost all day streaming and other times i only get 8 hours max and then have to hit resume because of the timeout. That's the nature of streaming.
