DS2 User Code Programming

Hi

 

I am very new to all this. I have a DS2 doorstation installed and working. I have just started using Composer HE and have figured out by looking at the properties section that I can enter in user codes. What I can't figure out is where to program logic for "when user code 1 then open gate" etc.. I have clicked the "Programming Tab" but can't find this anywhere. Please would someone spell this out for me.

I don’t have my PC in front of me, but this is pretty easy.  As I recall:

1. In programming go to your DS2 driver.

2. There is a drop down menu on the left of the screen with various options in it.  One of the options is “when user code 1 is pressed”. Choose this.

3. Now do your programming in the center of the screen - E.g. open gate!

voila.

Okay so I:

 

1. Click the bottom left icon called "Programming" with red light camera icon

2, I select "Control4 DS2 Intercom" from the Device Events Tree

And then what?? I can't see a drop down. It opens up a C4 DS2 Intercom events box below the tree with radio button options: "Incoming Call", "outgoing Call" etc etc but no drop down for for "When use code 1".

I am blind!! I looked at that area 1000 times and just didn't see it. Thanks for the help.
