isight
QRS Pnomation II vs. iQ Intelligent Player System by PianoDisc Trying to figure out which one I should purchase for my grand piano. Anyone have any recommendations on one over the other in regards to integration with control4?
mstafford388
Highly unlikely you'll ever find a driver for either. It will just be an audio source that you can switch your system to, you won't be able to control them. I've never seen a piano that does but do either happen to come with a remote? JSTRONG
I have the QRS Pnomation III (that is the latest) I have the audio output sent to my matrix for a source in the whole house audio. Its cool but would be nice to be able to browse from the nearby Touch panels. I do have a dedicated Ipad that just sits on the Piano to select titles to play. Can also just quickly use your phone . QRS gave me a 2 year unlimited subscription for free also when my upgrade got messed up
mstafford388
You're not going to get the ability to browse music from a touchscreen unless there was a driver, which I'm sure there is not. It probably wouldn't be too hard for someone to write one to launch the web app (assuming there is one), but the problem is the demand almost certainly isn't there for someone to take the time to do that. You're likely out of luck on this one.
Crustyloafer
We just integrated a Yamaha self-playing piano, but to be honest integration was no more than feeding digital coax from piano into Triad AMS8 and then creating a custom driver for it to select it as an input/source. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xjyc6p3jao3r83m/tuner_yamaha_piano.c4z?dl=
isight
Thank you everyone for the input! Going to get the QRS and hook it up as an audio-in

When you connect to the QRS from your phone/tablet, it basically re-directs you to a webpage. Jot down that IP address/URL and input it into the generic URL driver. This will allow you to open the QRS interface on your T3. Only problem is that the connection is SUPER slow. Takes forever for the music playlists to load. msgreenf
JSTRONG
Nice. Thanks for that tip. I’ll try it. Would be nice if there was a 2-way driver though. msgreenf

I pretty said it there already, was just a non-controllable audio source into the matrix, but we made a custom Piano icon for the driver, nothing special. Client can either set it to play itself from its own dedicated app and then select as a source in any rooms or can select as a source and play it live throughout the house if desired.
