gjpinc
Hi...I have a sizable music library. I would like to integrate my Synology NAS with my C4 and stream my music directly from my Synology. I have asked my vendor to set this up but for some reason they can't seem to figure out how to do this properly. Any guidance or direction would be helpful. I dont do my own programming but I am finding that I am needing to research certain things before they come out, this being one of the issues. I assume I need some sort of driver(s) installed that point to the NAS. I would like the system to work similar to Plex where it scrapes album art and categorizes the albums, etc. Anyone have any step by step suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help! LollerAgent
Run a DLNA server on your NAS and then ask your dealer to install the DLNA driver. This is the most seamless method in my opinion. -defunct- and AceOfSpades

I haven't tried two libraries, but I'm pretty sure "shuffle" is working as expected for me. I'll double check when I get home. eggzlot
SMHarman
Why not set up music user ID and password on the synology Use the inbuilt My Music on C4 and point that to the synology and it will scan away and off you go with your music. SMHarman
True but you can have a custom button to run the scan and schedule it every 24 hrs.Rare I'm in a rush to rip and play something these days. I'll find it on Napster Sent from my E6603 using Tapatalk
