smarch
Just looking for opinions here. I have one lamp that is built into a stair case. I'd like to add a dimmable colour changing bulb to this lamp that I can integrate with control4. Specifically it would turn on and dim linked to a wall sconce close by, which is hardwired to a control4 dimmer. What would be the best bulb for this lamp, and which driver? Thanks! smarch
Thanks! Would this be the bulb? Using the Chowmain driver? https://www.amazon.ca/meross-Multiple-Equivalent-Compatible-Assistant/dp/B07QQLSK4N/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=tp+link+bulb&qid=1573226254&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzMVhCT0xLWUtVTFYyJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzM4Njk5M0NNNEdZSzFQVFJCMSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjAzOTA1MzJNSzlaTk1KMUtGRiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
smarch
Just noticed that was not TP link. How about this one? https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-LB130-Multi-Color-Smart/dp/B078TKJ69G/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=tp+link+bulb&qid=1573226532&sr=8-

Darkimedes
I have the LB130s and the Chowmain driver. Works pretty well, if you aren't going the disco/rave route.
BraydonH
I have only ever used the hue products before. Quick question with TP link can you actually dim the bulb using a dimmer? Or do you need to wire it to power all the time then send programming commands to actually dim it?

The dimming functionality is in the bulb itself. Never dim a smart bulb as you will damage the electronics.
