Scrib
I've had it with my NX-8E setup, the serial module that was working under OS 2 isn't supported under OS 3. Ok, no problem, but I've been trying to get a different supported module to work and in the end I think I have a bad panel. I won't go into the details, but I no longer have power on the panel, it seems. That said, is it worth these days to look for a a system that can integrate with C4 or should I just go with something like Ring? I'm not looking to replace the NX-8E at this point. Just too many headaches. Thoughts?
Adidaswood
I went with DSC Neo. itegrates well, been solid. No issues. I'm on 3.1, but it worked well on 2.x as well. I did it all myself and had my dealer install the driver. I like it because it can handle both wired and wireless sensors.
ejn1
DSC NEO has been solid for me also. No C4 issues.
Glloyd77
I have installed my last 2 alarm systems using Honeywell Vista 21ip panels. No issues with C4 integration but reading some people are having troubles with Vista and OS3. I am building a new home and going to be installing my third alarm system while taking the opportunity to upgrade my equipment to more easily manage OS3. What are the reasons you all have chosen DSC NEO over other systems? What is your preferred system that has the most convenient C4 integration with OS3? All thoughts appreciated. Also going to be adding surveillance cameras - probably Luma unless anyone has any strong opinions against.
