Integrating Casablanca DC LED Ceiling fans with Control4

Recommended Posts

As I understand it, the short answer to your question is no. Since that fan is DC, and not AC. The bond bridge should work, but LED light control will be sub-optimal if that fan is anything like mine. If you haven't bought it yet, just get a Haiku. They are roughly the same price and work fantastic.

Havent worked with that fan but if it has a RF remote there is a good likelihood a bond bridge will be the answer

Hi @sonic30101

With the bond bridge, what kind of proxy we would get for the fan and the light bulb built in the fan? Would it be a TV remote like interface on the navigator or a fan icon? Any possibility to have a slider on the navigator to vary the speed by sliding the bar?

I appreciate if you could share an image to get an idea...

Hi @lippavisual

What is a pull chain?

Really??  The chain sets the fan to the speed you want.

If you're a C4 dealer, create accounts with these 3rd party driver guys.  Then you can download the drivers yourself and install them with X amount of days for a trial.  This will tell you what everything looks like and what is offered from the drivers.
