Environmental Variables

Question

Hi All

New to C4 and I have the Home edition of Composer.  I am trying to figure out how to use environmental data in programming.

For example, if I would light to create a movie scene, I would like a condition to be:

If the temperature outside is <=30 degrees, then turn on fireplace, if not, then do not turn on fireplace.

My dealer installed a weather driver, but the only options I see are when the weather changes, not absolute values.

Any ideas?

THanks

melissa

Which Weather driver do you have?  You should be able to pull weather as a variable from the weather driver and do a "if temp le 30 " command.  I have some progamming done in this way - I think I am still using the Wunderground driver, but that only works for people who provide them with weather station info.
