Sonos Playbar with Surround Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have recently added a Sonos playbar with surround speakers to my lounge room.

The playbar and two Sonos Ones are grouped together via the Sonos app to form a surround system for the lounge.

All three items are connected via WiFi to my local network and are all online in the Sonos app.

I am having trouble getting volume control to work through Control4.

I have added the Sonos network driver and Sonos endorsed driver for the playbar.

No matter what I do with my connections and end points, I can't get the volume control to work.

Has anyone had any experience with this type of setup that can point me in the right direction?

make sure the play bar is the audio and video endpoints for the room

make sure toslink connection is made

make sure the playbar is selected

make sure sonos is full updated same for the drivers

make sure tv auto play is on

Thank you all for your replies.

I ended up deleting my existing Sonos drivers that I had installed for when the Sonos Ones were individual speakers and started again.

Once I did this, the volume control started working right away.

Happy days!!

that should not have effected i would think unless one of them was the volume end point. glad you were able to resolve it.
