bigdaddyo811
I'm not sure where to post this but it is hardware/wire related soI need a device(s) to do the following and would like recommendations:1. We have RG6 running through the house that homerun to a panel and some are not marked. Is there a device I can hook up on one end and then go to the other end and touch the wire to see which one it is?2. I want to replace my home security panel. The sensors and smoke detectors are wired but not marked in the panel. Is there a device (similar to 1.) that I can touch one end of the wire (i.e where the smoke detector is) and then on the other side (at the panel) figure out which wire it is?Thanksbdo
ILoveC4
You can use a toner, or a continuity tester.

chicagoskiguy
You can get this coax mapper for $35. It has either 4 or 8 identifying ends that communicate to the tester. http://www.skywalker.com/itemdisplay.aspx?item=227517
