Alexa suddenly not recognizing Control4 devices

I'm suddenly having issues with Alexa not recognizing my Control4 devices and not discovering them when I try to refresh it.  I had disabled the skill on Saturday trying something different for rooms and then re-enabled it so that was the only "change" I've done.  I seem to remember having this happen to me some time ago as well but cannot remember what remedied it.

1) I have the Alexa skill enabled

2) all of the devices that I want enabled for voice control are check-boxed on Mycontrol4, saved, and refreshed a few times now

3) I've tried discovery several times and nothing is recognized or responding

According to the status update everything should work right now?  What's interesting is when I go into the Alexa app I do see that some of the Control4 devices are listed under scenes now not lights or switches. Will this change the performance or functionality?

is this causing push notification not to come also?

I tried removing and re-adding the C4 skill in Alexa and it's not responding right now so seems like there are still issues right now.
