jedi7001
Can the 9150 play my Blue Ray 1080p ISO's? I have an HTPC and want something more Wife Friendly for the ripped DVD collection and she loves our Control4 GUI. Im sure standard def DVDs play fine but how well does the 9150 handle HD files with HD audio? I rip all my Blue Rays with no compression to the ISO format. thecodeman
No, there's currently no player on the market that I'm aware of that's able to play back blu-ray .iso files natively. For the netgear and others, you'll need to rip them to m2ts or something similar.
digitaltrader
Many are hoping the new popcorn hour C-200 will play bluray .iso's. And then we need a C4 driver/ I'm sure someone could easily charge $50 for the driver if it works well.
thecodeman
The trick is getting a two-way driver for the PCH. I'm hoping it can be done with the launch of the new one.
Matt
Doubtful there not interested in this market.
digitaltrader
Cinemar has already launched a 2-way driver for its Mainlobby automation application. I know that PCH can be somewhat diffiuclt to work with but I can guarantee it will pay off in the end.
thecodeman
Unfortunately, it seems that this is a one-way driver using telnet.http://wiki.cinemaronline.com/index.php?title=MLNMTSince Cinemar is running on your PC, it looks like all the telnet controls are silently handled in the background. Would be nice if there was a package that you could install on the NMT, that would take commands via HTTP and then translate them to telnet on the box itself.... jedi7001
would it be better to run XBMC to accomplish this or should I just convert all iso's to mkv?
