nwanerka
I can't take the credit for this as I took it from another user from a different thread but you can probably use this Bluetooth device that will talk right into your amp. It looks pretty cool I might even get one myself https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Adapter-Streaming-Wireless-Speakers/dp/B016NUTG5K/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+receiver&qid=1596766662&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFSVTBHQ0w3UzNBMEwmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyMDM0MjQyTU9US1ZBME1MUjVYJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyMTU1MTQyTTlDVDBKNU5aVjBUJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
BraydonH
You have a few options when trying to stream YouTube off an Android device. 1.) Go bluetooth. Bluetooth sucks range is terrible. Get a WMB or any generic dongle. Make sure dongle is in same room you plan on having your phone in. 2.) Chromecast. You will need to buy a google Chomecast then you will need a HDMI to Analog audio adapter that probaly costs 2-3x as much as the Chromecast did. Then hook the chromecast up to your amp. For best performance you can get a USB Ethernet adapter so the Chromecast isn't on wifi. By the Time you get the Chromecast, The Ethernet Adapter, and the HDMI audio converter it adds up. But this is the best solution for android streaming. (Or source out an old school chromecast audio) 3.) Switch to iOS (boo!) and use shairbridge. (Im an android guy personally) Do the chromecast solution. It may be expensive, but its the best option.
Neo1738
If you have distributed video/audio w downmixing you can just do a chromecast and then audio from that. Don't need the extra stuff.
HomeAutomationNerd
I do this via my iDevices regularly. I've got a dozen Sharebridge instances setup ("Whole House", "Master Bedroom", "Greatroom", etc), and that lets me drive music from my devices. I *think* you could also do with on the android side with DLNA, although I've not been down that route. Your dealer can set this up for you. msgreenf
DLNA wouldn't really be the same as shairbridge
