Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to revert to my 'long programming,' because I'm noticing that the system is getting 'stuck' in volume up or volume down, including hours/days later when I go to use the room. This may be related to an issue I noted in another thread -- that it feels like one of every 10-20 C4 commands doesn't work. Any help/ideas? ZigBee commands rarely get 'lost'. Even if connections is weak or intermittent, the device will 'hold' the command until it's got confirmation it was received.
C4 User
@booch Cyknight is one of the top experts on this forum. You should not be losing commands and your system should be responsive and not hang up commands. I strongly suggest you engage your dealer or one of the remote dealers on this forum to look at and confirm your C4 setup. They have tools in Composer Pro to analyze your devices and zigbee and should be able to tell if you have a bad device or a setup issue. They might also be able to take a look at your network setup and offer some recommendations. But do not accept command hang ups in your system. Good luck. I'm planning on doing that once I get things wrapped up with my local dealer.
