sneakypete
I am a cvnet dealer and as you can imagine I am a extemely distressed with the news. I have several projects in motion, prewired with sheetrock and speakers installed. Does anyone know of another manufacturer that uses the same technology that I can use to fulfill my contracts? jberger
I don't think anyone would be a drop in replacement for vNet, the module sizes and orientation is unique AFAIK. That is one thing I REALLY like about C4's lighting system, it's completely retro friendly and requires no special wiring. Don't have to teach an electrician anything new, drops into any standard wiring schema and if anything ever happened to C4 you could retro any standard light switch or similar into the same system without running all new wiring. ELECTRICDON
The truth is that Clipsal is a perfect replacement for Colorado Vnet since it is panelized lighting. Once 2.0 is released, I believe Alan Chow will sell the Clipsal driver for C4 in the app store. All is not lost.
