How to program my remotes to record.

Ok, I have Apple TV as a choice in my (watch). Within Apple TV I have AT&T as a selection. When I am watching AT&T TV I want to record some shows. BUT, I can't  find anywhere to program my 7",  Neeo or iPhone to select the record button. Am I missing something. I am also looking for the back Button as on the apple TV remote, it has specials functions. These functions are not available on the Control4 remotes???????

On most ATV drivers, cancel is back

The recording happens on the AT&T TV app. On the apple TV the double Cancel click allows you to close any open apps. I can no longer make that happen.
