Is Composer HE still available?

Guaranteed

Question

I just moved into a new house - where a ton of stuff is wired through C4 system. Lots of lighting automation, tv inputs, etc

I'm a programmer and wanted to be able to play around with this. I had a dealer out to transfer system over and set everything up and I asked about HE and he said it was no longer available - only When >> Then. Is this true now? Based on reading forums here, it sounds like When >> Then is way less capable.

My understanding is that I can tweak all of the automation using Composer HE - just not able to add new devices without a Pro.

Your dealer is FOS.  Some dealers don't like their clients using HE as they are worried that they may screw up the system. And/or he may want the revenue to do all of the programming rather than letting you do it yourself.

Be fair now - a lot of dealers simply don't know that there's a difference between HE and ME (the latter is indeed removed) - not that that is a whole lot better than flat out lying...

What's that saying - ignorance is no defense.
