Chime Snapshot For Touchscreen Announcement

Has anyone attempted to send a Chime snapshot to a touchscreen via announcement? I was thinking that it might be nice when a motion event occurs without a button press, and in addition to the push notification with snapshot.

I was able generate a link for the camera via HE. It does require authentication which I embedded in the URL for basic auth but I still get 401 (unauthenticated). The URL works with creds working in browsers just not in the announcement agent.

Go under programming and when motion is detected go to Navigation.  You can then pull up a live view on the touchscreen for a period of time.

Good idea - but will it make a sound on the touchscreen so that one knows to look at it if its not within view?

@DanITman, thanks for the suggestion, works like a charm!

@chopedogg88, I tested the above via a group call to touchscreens when motion is detected, it makes the doorbell noise.  If door chime is disabled then you get a ring tone like a normal intercom call.

If the Chime is making a call to the touchscreens when motion is detected, why do you need the snapshot for? Now the Chime is busy making a call, so what happens when the button is pressed? You can play a sound in the touchscreens by creating an announcement that plays only on the selected touch screens.
