Rob21
This Araknis AN-310-SW-R-16-PoE has been making a loud noise and vibration for months now. I am assuming that this is simply the fan acting up but something definitely seems wrong. The temperature in the room is fine. I have power cycled the switch multiple times but the problem persists. Could something like this cause network issues? I have been trying to track down a problem regarding the T3’s on this network slowing down over time (very strange problem). I have attached a video of the switch below. All help is greatly appreciated! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nRWr09F0URr2C8kWyOsDJ8swbDuZOy4T/view?usp=drivesdk
Köhler Medientechnik
That´s a bearing damage of the switch fan as you correctly assumed. Should be changed. msgreenf and Rob21
Kyle Coolabode
That sound definitely is not right. You can get your dealer to check the MAC address with SnapOne to see it's eligible for warranty. Rob21

An if not, and you're somewhat handy, you can usually find the right size fans for $10 a piece all the way down to $2 a piece.
Rob21
Thanks everyone. If its not under warrantee I’ll consider taking it apart on my own and trying to fix it.
