garcilamd
Previously, I had an issue with playing MP3s from a network share. I was able to fix the issues and now can play my mp3s appropriately. The only issue I am having is when I select digital media to play on my tv onscreen navigator. As soon as I hit play, the video source switches and I lose the GUI. If I want to do anyting else with the mp3s I have to hit the "4" button again to bring up the navigator and the music then stops. Anyone else experience this?
garcilamd
Added comment; When I think about it, the system has been doing this with all audio selections. If I chose XM radio through the onscreen navigator, XM starts playing but the video source from the HC300 shuts off.
ILoveC4
You obviously have some programming issues...You should post a copy of your project and let a few peeps take a look.
thecodeman
Sounds like a bindings/physical hook up issue. If you want both the Navigator and your music at the same time, they should be on the same input.
garcilamd
Thanks. I checked the inputs and the component video and audio inputs are separate. The problem I have though is that the component video inputs on my receiver only have an optical audio input. Are there any workarounds that you know of? akg4y
There are coaxial to optical converters but I dont know how to do stereo to optical, or if it is at all possible. http://www.amazon.com/Dayton-DAC-CO-Coaxial-Optical-Converter/dp/B0002MQGQIThe only other option would be to use the composite video out instead of component...
