my apologies if this has already been covered but I couldn’t find a definitive answer regarding hue lights with C4 switches.
My whole house is set up with Phillips hue down lights(40ish lights). For almost all of the light switches i have stuck a dimmer switch over top so they can always be controlled. It works well however it’s not fully integrated with Control4. For example if the light is turned on at the wall control4 doesn’t change the state of light to “on”. Where this is becoming an issue is if I go to control4 I need to turn light on before i can turn it off. Also any groups like turn all lights off will only turn the lights off showing the “on” state.
I believe I’m on most current driver and newest hue bridge.
what I would like to do is replace all of my light switches with engraved C4 switches. My installer said he couldn’t get it to work but that was a while ago.
does anyone know if this is possible? Any help greatly appreciated.
