dmassart
Just wondering if anyone is running the HC-300C that was running the older HC-300 models. Would like to know the relative performance increase that you saw?
ILoveC4
I don't have one, but a source that has used them told me is about 35% faster.
CFUG
I think OP is looking for examples like "Hey! Zone information pops-up quicker than with my old 300"!
ILoveC4
^yeah, he might be. I just told him what I knew. Hopefully I will have one to play with this week.
CFUG
I would guess for some projects there is the decision of whether to try a beefed-up 300 or go straight to the 1000. I haven't seen anything non-technical other than many posts about how one's life changed the day they installed the 1000. 35% up is great but does it get one over the hump with slow operations or does it still fall short? control4developer
I have installed a few of the new HC-300C and they are noticably faster and the new SR-250 that comes with it has a ambient light sensor and adjusts the backlight as needed.... ekohn00
I am wondering would it make a difference if you have a HC1000?
dogdvr
If they are running Navigator then they will
dmassart
Thanks for the info. Just trying to finalize my order and not sure to go with the HC-1000 or not. I am installing 15 switches/buttons, garage door sensors/controller, 8 port audio, thermostat and matrix switch. Looks like I can try the new HC-300c and if it does not work out I can have a HC-1000 installed.
kcoxferris
Yeah you have to start with a 300 or 200 to get Navigator and then if its not enough then you can add the 1000.
tmiller
I apparently have the "beefed up" HC-300 and find it sluggish. I hate to see what the old one was like
