thefred
Is it just me or is attempting to arm and disarm the alarm through the toggle keypad nearly impossible? It often takes me 10 minutes to get the mouse clicks just right to set the alarm. Am I doing something wrong or is this just not an easy task to accomplish remotely? thefred
Seriously? 50 views and no one has experienced this problem? If that is the case, just post that you set your alarm remotely using the toggle keypad and it works fine and then I'll know the problem is with mine! CFUG
I just tried it. Its instantaneous. Are you on the LAN-side while tryng this?
thefred
I just tried it. Its instantaneous. Are you on the LAN-side while tryng this? Thanks for the reply! I'm not sure I understand the question, but I think I do. I log in through my.contro4.com from outside of the house. (For example, I just tried it from my office-so not on the LAN side, I think) I go to the security tab and select Toggle Keypad. When I try to click on the numbers to set the alarm, there is such a delay that it resets before I can get the code in. Or, if I manange to get the code in and see all the related asterisks, I can't get it to arm because I can't get the Stay or Away button timed exactly correct before it resets. RyanE
You shouldn't have to wait for the asterisks. Just punch the code in.RyanE

CFUG
I just tried again- did not need to wait for asterisks but it was very slow to react this time.

All I get is Alarm Cleared even if all of the asterisks show up.
mercedes
I have no issue with mine. I use this feature a great deal to arm and disarm remotely.
derickson1472
I just tested my speed, 18.58 mbps down and 3.68 mbps up. Are these decent numbers for Control4 (including rhapsody)? Thanks
ILoveC4
thefred, those are pretty slow data speeds (I think). I typically get 24-26 mbps down and 3.5-4.5 up.derickson1472, those numbers are great.
thefred
Those were the speeds at my office. The speeds from home are:Download Speed: 27407 kbps (3425.9 KB/sec transfer rate)Upload Speed: 3553 kbps (444.1 KB/sec transfer rate)Even if I try to do this from home but through 4sight, I have the same problem. Is this a speed problem or something else?
