  1. Input commands $7E $30 $30 $31 $34 $30 $20 $34 $32 $0D HDMI 1 $7E $30 $30 $31 $34 $30 $20 $34 $33 $0D HDMI 2
  2. In the driver wizard HEX codes require a '$' in front to signify that it is hexidecimal. Here's what I think the ON and OFF commands are: 7E 30 30 30 31 20 31 0D ON 7E 30 30 30 30 20 30 0D OFF So for Control4 : $7E $30 $30 $30 $31 $20 $31 $0D ON $7E $30 $30 $30 $30 $20 $30 $0D OFF
  3. There are several other LED controllers that should work with this driver. Does it send raw HEX to port 5577? The driver is a little pricey but it would be nice to have control in Control4. http://www.jpelectron.com/sample/electronics/WiFi LED control/
  4. You need 3 relays for open, close, and stop.

Sounds good.  Let me know what's your time frame since I haven't upgraded my system yet.  Hoping to get $60. Been using for over 2 years without any issues.  Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm going to a wedding on Saturday but I can work out any other time at your conveniece.  Can I pick it up locally? $60 is fair, I'm fine with that.

  6. Power Toggle $10 $EF $D5 $7B It doesn't have discrete codes for on or off. A 2-way driver could check the status every time a command is sent to determine if it's off. If it is off, send a command to toggle the power then resend the command that was ignored. But that's a little more work than programming a button on the remote to toggle the power post #30 http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/rs232-ip/thread.cgi?114,2
  7. You should try to find the wiring diagram for the Control4 thermostat first and go over it with the A/C tech
  8. I'm not sure, sorry. Most air conditioning systems in the US are central A/C units with external thermostats, so it's just a matter of replacing the existing thermostat. I'm not sure how to go integrating other non-central A/C units like the ones you are looking at.
  9. The thermostat is hardwired to the A/C unit and Control4 sends zigbee commands to it. Are you sure you can easily add an external thermostat to the a/c unit you're looking at?
