Hi all,
The pentair Alexa Skill has been taken down. I used to have an Alexa connected by the pool and could easily control all pool functions. I’ve never integrated the pentair with C4. Any work around to get voice control by the pool with Pentair?
TIA.

Hi all,
I am looking to buy 2 satin nickel/silver keypad locks for closets that can integrate into C4. Please let me know if available.
TIA

Just for clarification, 3 button keypad itself cannot be connected directly to a light? Correct?
-
Hi all,
Besides using the 3 button keypad for the obvious audio/video options, does anyone use a 3 button keypad in places like an upstairs hallway or foyer? If so what do you have it programmed to do?
TIA.

Sorry for the silly questions but what’s difference between forward phase and adaptive phase?
and are Either of the ones listed in OP a C4 keypad that would work for 3 way?
-
Ok thanks for the reply. Can I use both of them for multi-pole sites?
also what’s mlv? -
Can either of these be used for multi location switches?

Hello
When did it stop working? Has it worked on the ea5 at all?
Also when you try and operate the Blu-ray player can you see the ir bud flashing red?
Also check to make sure the IT bud is in the right location and it hasn’t fallen off
M
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI never tested it after we upgraded months ago (just dont use the DVD player much now but still want the control).
Problem is the bud doesnt flash at all. Tried a different IR cable and still no flashing. Almost as if EA-5 is just not getting the signal to send to the IR cable. I do have other IR controllers which do work.

Hi all,
I had full control of my oppo with my HC800 but now cant control with the ea5. Using IR. Any thoughts on this issue and how to fix it please?
TIA

The fire stick and denon are controlled with the 250 but there’s a definite delay in controlling the Fire stick. So for immediate response I use the fire stick remote since there’s no delay. I just can’t control the denon volume with it. If I don’t mind the delay the 250 controls everything but the kids hate the delay.
Why not switch to a Roku stick?
Is there no known delay between C4 and the Roku stick?

there should be no delay using the SR250 for denon control.
There is none for the denon but using the 250 for the fire stick has a definite delay. That’s the problem.

By Alexa remote do you mean the SR250?
You are on the C4 forum so the Denon has a C4 driver that should be installed and then the SR250 can control it.
Once the C4 system and SR250 can control it then you can use the C4 Alexa skills to control the Denon.No. I can control it with the 250. I meant with the actual Alexa remote.

So I have the Denon AVR-2313CI and thats not on your list. Even if it were to work with the alexa skill, would the remote work? RIght now I have to use the 250 to work the volume. Even though the 250 controls the alexa, there is a definite delay which is why I use the Alexa Remote. Looking for an easy solution to get rid of 2 remotes.

Was wondering if my alexa remote can control my Denon receiver volume. Issue is the denon and fire stick are in my basement and the remote is for the tv on the first floor. No problem or delay with controlling the fire stick.
TIA

Seems the OP is getting as good as it gets.
haha true but still something not satisfying about getting 750 down on my EERO hardwired but only 100-200mbps over wifi. I see max broadcast eero is 350mbps. Was just wondering if there was something better in terms of cost value.

The Eero is going to get 240Mbps at 2.4 GHz and about 600Mbps at 5 GHz, I would guess your connecting on the 2.4, so you're probably doing ok. You could spend a lot more for Rukus but realize that if you connect at 2.4 some devices (Like H510) peak at 300Mbps. Not really a big change for the money..... At the same time your client's wifi might be the limiting factor..... And above all your won't get the same throughput as the wired connection.
Thank you for the informative response. As a follow up, do most Fire TV's connect on the 2.4 or 5ghz? ANyway I can specify what bandwith what connects to? My computers hardwired are giving me the 600mbps but within a few few on wireless are in the 200-240 range. This is even on new Mac's. Thanks again.

intersting. Would be worth checking out then. I have an araknis router and wonder if I were to get one araknis AP hardwired I could test it. my home is 5000sq ft. How many would your recommend? and any particular model? Thanks again.

with EEROs or other mesh networks, the speed gets cut in half each time the signal is repeated...so yes it doesn't surprise me, if your EEROs are not all hard-wired to the network. I would only use EERO if you didn't have cat5/6 run throughout the house and had to rely on mesh wifi instead.
Ive rewired my existing phone lines to rj45 ethernet so only 1 eero is not hardwired. They are all direct from my router so no repeating. So the question is if I hardwire a ruckus or araknis, would my wifi speed out of them be better?
-
Hi all,
I have araknis as my router and multiple EEROs hardwired throughout the house in bridge mode. I use verizon Fios (recent change from optimum) and if I test hardwired I get speeds of 500-700mbps. When I test wifi I get 200-250mbps out of my EEROs. Questions:
1. Am I suppose to lose half of my hardwired signal when it broadcasts wireless?
2. Would I be better off changing the EEROs to araknis or ruckus or other APs?
TIA

can you do this easily with Fire TV cube or Fire sticks? Shortcuts for say youtubetv, netflix, amazon prime?
