  1. I want to add an extra 4 zones to my current audio setup, potentially replacing the current PAMP4-100 with a PAMP8-100 (not the new 125).
Can someone confirm if it limits power output when all zones are active? I've heard that when all zones are active is halves the power output to each channel - but haven't been able to confirm this anywhere and my current integrator doesn't know about this.
Rack space is a bit limited, so I don't want to add another PAMP4 along side the existing one. The other option is to get the PAMP8-125-V2, but the price on the PAMP8-100 being offered is pretty good.

What is difference in the 125 model vs the 100? What changed?

  2. While I’m not much of a black Friday shopper, I’d love to get my hands on a relatelively cheap windows laptop machine (new or used) …now I do all my c4 programming from a desktop so it would be nice to test code from the machine and see what happens

That said, any min requiremts you’d recommend….and I know that chromebooks and Microsoft S mode will not work…

Any tips or great finds, I would appreciate it

  3. Dumb question - but does an autonomies solution compete with C4 or do they compliment eachother? I tried to review some online content / YouTube videos but it was not clear.

  6. I’m having intermittent connectivity for my system since moving to 3.3. (Inability to connect to director and lighting scenes gone)

    Is Composer 3.3 fully supported?

I’m also noticing that certain times of the day the system goes down. I’m running on Unify Uniquity gear which has historically been rock solid up with my c4 project.

However, current situation is quite frustrating

  7. The pictures are illustrative. The current setup has wall outlets at the bottom of wall but I’d like to hide those and ensure that c4 could control the dimming on/off of all of the posters

    The company recommends a setup
With an Amazon product to dim but I’m not sure that would work well with c4

    https://glowbox.shop/pages/posters

    From website:

Inside our units, the LEDs are dimmable. Each unit does come with a Power Supply/Transformer (the power supply is not dimmable) that converts the 120V to 24V (what the LEDs take). The transformer is pictured under each product listing. It is 5.5 x 2.5 x 1.5. And for the 27x40" LED Frames, which are 42.66 Watts, the transformer is 3amp, we can put two units to one 6amp transformer if needed. A wall dimmer can be utilized, however you would need to use another power supply, please get with your electrician pertaining to the electrical set up, you want a power supply that is designed to be controlled and dimmed by an external wall mounted dimmer like the Leviton, Lutron, etc.

Some wonderful Glowbox customers have provided us with schematics for past projects, in the diagrams below, please use for reference, but again, double check with your electrician to ensure your set up is correct for how you would like to mount your LED Light Box Frames. In the comments/notes section of your order you can specify where you would like the cord to come out; back lower center portion or bottom left edge (cord will be visible when hanging on the wall).
