  1. my system just said to remove the 4store. shades didn't come up on the check but just trying to avoid any issues....
  2. this is the driver that i'm using for my blinds: http://drivers.control4.com/blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind-blind_serial_somfy_rts urtsi ii [16 channel].c4i any idea if it will work?
  3. I control my somfy shades using an urtsi- don’t remember the driver - will this work on 3.0?
  4. I initially bought my pi from josh but then broke it and ruined the software trying to upgrade from Jesse to Stretch. once I learned how to set it up myself, I really learned how to program my own stuff into it. All my Ubiquiti cameras show up in my home app now too. There are plugins for pretty much everything internet connected and so many customizable options through the eve app.
  5. At this point I never use the control4 app. It’s too slow to load and doesn’t get me where I want to go quick enough. I have automations controlled by HomeKit and all my favorites organized on my main screen along with zones set for easy voice control of areas. we use our HomePods all the time for Siri control of the house since it’s a ay faster than Alexa. I have favorites if channels and it’s great to use voice to say things like “hey Siri set NFL Network.”
  6. Yes I’m talking about veritas - it’s still needed. I built my own pi 3b+ with poe hat and have control4, sony HomeKit plugin for TVs, nest plugin, MyQ, and directv.... runs fantastic - just thought it would be neat if the EA series natively supports HomeKit and all the devices in it show up. Seems that may be coming since the EA5 is now a bridge showing up in my home app.
  7. Installed it. My EA5 is now in my Apple home app. Doesn’t show any of my devices so you still need the homebridge plugin.....
  8. No. I have 5.1. It’s overkill. Whatever. I have 7.2 in my loft and main tv.
  9. I use the 4 zone control4 amp for my whole home audio. An avr-x8500h for my main tv/theater room avr-x6400h for my loft avr-x4400 for my master bedroom love denon receivers.
  10. I use the MyQ Home Bridge appliance so it natively works in iOS. Previously I was using the Homebridge driver for c4 and the c4 house logix driver.
  11. My house is new construction with all Ethernet terminating in the master closet. I installed a rack and all UniFi: -24 port Poe 500w switch* -USG-Pro-4 security gateway* -a couple UniFi switches throughout the house - ac shd access point on the ceiling upstairs -ac in Wall Pro downstairs - cloudkey controller - using att fiber 1000/1000 but I bypassed the RG using a simple script that sends all authentication traffic to the RG so it thinks it’s connected while I’m directly connected to the ONT. My USG has the ipv4 and ipv6 /128 address. You can also bypass the RG by simply utilizing a vlan swap. *if you’re installing UniFi and the model you select has a fan, consider taking them apart and replacing them with noctura fans to keep things quiet. My switch and router were super loud until I changed the fans. Instead of 2 fans in my switch, I know have 4 and it’s whisper quiet and cooler. You can also upgrade the memory on the USG-Pro to 4-8gb.
