Sorry for bringing back this old thread, but earlier in the year my house was without internet for two weeks and I was not able to use C4. How could I fix this so that if my internet goes out again I am still able to use C4? My main use case would be for lutron lighting through C4 touchpads. Any help is appreciated!

Okay so we’ll try to get in touch in someone this week.

Do you think Lutron could fix their C4 driver if we reach out again or is it out of their hands?

Also, do you use the Lutron app at all?  If so, when you close the shades fully in C4 does it not show correct shade level in the app?  Just wondering if the symptoms are the same as mine. 

I have had this issue since the day I got my Control4 system set up (about two years now).

I do not use it but I do have the Lutron Connect app. When I close the shades fully in C4 it does not show the correct shade level in the Lutron app (so same symptoms as you). When I click the lutron button on my wall the lutron app realizes the state for the shade but then I have to click the button another time for the shade to actually do anything.

I’m hoping that now I’m not the only one experiencing this, someone from C4 (Ryan?) will see this and help get the right folks involved. I already spoke with my C4 dealer, and he didn’t have any ideas.

Do you have the Lutron app too?  For me, when I close the shades from C4, the Lutron app still continues to show the previous shade level (fully open for example).  I’m convinced now this is a bug with the C4 integration or driver, not a Lutron issue.  Never had a problem when these were integrated with an RTI system. 

Who do you think we should contact to fix the bug?

If anyone else has any information on this please help us out!

I have Lutron shades, lights, and fans integrated into my C4 system. Everything has been great with the exception of these two things.
 

Control4 does not know the state of the fan after it is turned on. (Video below)

Control4 seems to miscommunicate with the Lutron driver when controlling the shades. (Video below)

If anyone could help me solve these issues I would greatly appreciate it!

Does anyone know if it is possible to display tides on the T3's? I would love to be able to quickly see if the tide is going up or down at a glance from the T3.

I have a Yale deadbolt lock with the august module in it. Obviously the first step is to link your august account to Control4. Once that’s done you can easily program the lighting in when then. I have it set up like this—

when unlocked during the daytime (before sunset) turn the lights to 100%

when locked during the daytime (before sunset) turn the lights off 

when unlocked at night (after sunset) turn lights on to 100%

when locked at night (after sunset) turn lights on to 30% 

This works great for me and I always know if my door is locked or unlocked when I walk up to it. Hope this helps!

Is it possible to integrate the door sense into Control4?

Any idea if the latest C4 app update helped speed up the iOS app? It feels faster on my end but it might just be me.

This is good to know. I just chose to go with Rachio over Hunter's Hydrawise. @msgreenf was a great help as usual and I highly recommend going to him if you're interested in going with Rachio.

Im very interested in getting a Hayward Omnilogic panel. How well does it integrate with Control4?

Im defining interested getting a rachio. Is it better than Hunter's Hydrawise? How well does it integrate with Control4?

Hey I'm looking for the exact same thing as you. I currently have the Yale assure lock with the control4 module in it but I would like to have the features from the august module. Have you made any progress?

After going through Ecobbee can you get it to communicate through contro4? If so, what type of functionality remains intact?

Has anyone had any success integrating the carrier infinity system with Control4? I know this has been asked 1,000 times before but I figured its worth the shot.

At 50ms you can't tell the difference between the TV and the ceiling speakers. In my setup it's an exercise room, and there's a tv/soundbar as well as ceiling speakers. TV is used and spoken audio was tough to understand because of the "echo". Adding in the delay completely got rid of the issue...

Thank you dw886, I think I'm going to give it a shot on my system. I know that for what you sent me, you can only adjust the delay by 50ms intervals. Is there any delay still or is 50ms perfect for you?

Sending the sound back from the TV post-processing wont work for this application. As described in more detail above, this was what I did in my pre-control4 set up. However, now I have it set up with distributed audio/video with all Cable boxes in the basement rack so any tv in the house can watch or listen to any cable box. If I run the sound back from a tv post-processing, then I am limited by only having the sound from that 1 TV be available. If that TV is off but Im watching another TV, no sound is available as a source for the in ceiling speakers in the house.

After searching hi and low on google, i found this analog audio delay device.

Its quite pricey for this application at $295 - would have been much better if the control4 audio matrix included this feature.

But I can at least choose to put this in-line between the primary cable box audio-out and the audio matrix switcher input so at least for that cable box the sound can be delayed to match the TV.

Unless anyone has a better solution....I'm all ears.

I am having the same problem in my house and I have a very similar setup to you. Did the audio delay device fix the problem and if so do you recommend the one you linked above?
